Overlapping and redundant articles are a no-no, consider how Google algorithms can help

Google wants (and rewards) original content – it’s a great way to push up the cost of SEO and create a better user experience at the same time. Organic traffic refers to visits that come to your site when a user clicks on an unpaid search engine result. The key is that these visits are free. Search engine optimisation (SEO) is your means to maximising your access to and returns from this free traffic source. It’s fairly straightforward to find local Meetups, seminars, and conferences covering the SEO topic areas you will want to start following such as site speed optimization, content marketing, or user experience design. Since your content is evergreen and remains relevant all the time, it will keep bringing traffic to your blog. A proper SEO makes a website rank in the first page of SERP.

Well-written content is also far more likely to generate backlinks - links from other websites directing people to yours. This will boost your sites ranking in search engines, ensuring that the content people are being directed to is of a high standard. Long form content is most valuable when it can serve as an extensive resource for readers on a specific topic. This includes long lists of tips, step-by-step guides, and collections of facts and statistics. But social didn’t bother with this model. SEO techniques can be defined as ‘White Hat’ and ‘Black Hat’. Give your website another run-through with Googlebot as your user agent and see if your website displays content other than the content shown as a default user agent.

The secret behind landing pages

Growth is typically measured in units such as traffic, new user signups, revenue, and final sales transactions. You can make up a new keyword and add it to your page, but it’s unlikely other web pages will add your keyword. Numerous self-called experts are out there giving different tips and advice but, unfortunately, most of the time, the only thing they do is confuse people. Are internal links as valuable as external links? Google is an endless stream of free organic traffic and by optimizing your site and working on the critical components involved, you can get this traffic and continually grow it over the coming months and years. If a site, or specific page, has a lot of backlinks pointing to it, Google then sees this page or site as credible. This is only true, though, if those backlinks are coming from quality, reputable sources, and it’s even better when those sites are relevant to your site.

Small but important things to observe about Google algorithms

Gaz Hall, from SEO Hull, had the following to say: "Keep the structure, navigation and URL structure of your site simple enough for search engines to follow. Remember that search engines cannot parse your navigation if it's using flash or javascript. " You can create a guide on how to start a blog or a how-to tutorial for building a dog house. Always link back to vendors and brands you’ve worked with. Chances are that they will share your content if they are mentioned in it. They’ve been adding social signals to their algorithm, which means they look at a page’s Facebook and Twitter traffic, comments, sentiment, and other social data. Each webpage needs to have a unique title and you should try to include your primary phrase in every title of each page.

Attract links, stop chasing links

It not exactly best practice SEO in 2018, and I’d be nervous creating any low-quality pages on your site these days. A great example that I like to point people to is Profile Business. Content includes everything from press releases, blog posts and landing page content, to videos, articles and social media tweets. When we take this approach, we are rewarded by Google since this meets their quality guidelines. An example of a Meta Tag that does not necessarily impact on SEO is the viewport Meta Tag; If your niche is very competitive, you probably shouldn’t go after the most competitive head terms. It will be really hard to rank for those.

Do not hesitate to expand your niche area

In its efforts to eliminate low quality content from search engine results, Google algorithms such as Panda penalized websites for having "duplicate content." Any page that(s) with the majority of content appearing on another webpage (same domain or any other) is considered duplicate. Measuring the number of search engines that have indexed your site is an easy way to check the website growth resulting from your SEO efforts. The more pages indexed, the easier it is to get a ranking for more keywords. If the link to your website can be found on a page with good content, chances are that people will trust that link. It's pointless to get a link from a website that people do not trust. No matter what niche your website is in, when you start writing an article, always provide helpful and actionable guidance. If you are giving the users the information they want, your content can be as long as you need. Each page should have a title that isn’t used anywhere else on your site.
